Logistics Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Logistics Administration professional to join our logistics team to help support the company with its exciting growth plans.

What You’ll Do:
• Data inputting into bespoke software package from orders and standard instructions.
• Preparation of packing lists, invoices, despatch notes and all other related export
documentation for export despatches.
• Booking despatches with hauliers / forwarders /despatch department.
• Distribution of documentation.
• Answering queries (expediting orders and shipments, inter-company and external).
• Booking and monitoring import consignments as necessary and ensuring import paperwork is
processed timely and filed.
• Obtaining and communicating freight quotations as required.
• Checking supplier invoices against tariffs / quotes and coding.
• General office duties as required
• Update and maintain all purchasing records
• Liaise with supplier to ensure on time deliveries
• Picking items for production
• Maintain inventory levels to support manufacturing output
• Co-ordinate monthly stock take and process relevant documents

About You
• 1+ years logistics administration experience, preferably within distribution
• Proven track-record in implementing new processes
• IT competent
• You can demonstrate self-management, initiative, and an aptitude for learning
• You’re a team player that shows a hands-on attitude, dedication, and the ability to operate
comfortably with your colleagues
• You’ll have the ability to perform under pressure and be highly organised to manage a diverse
and heavy workload
• Medical sector experience would be advantageous, but it is not a dealbreaker

Plan, manage and implement schedules to ensure deadlines are met, and maintain a high quality
standard of product production and delivery.

Responsibilities
• Manages the growth and success of the team

• Responsible for the production, procurement, and planning of daily operations
