Strategic Partnership Manager – Cancer Division

Location: Field Based (National)

Everything Genetic is looking to hire a full-time sales professional, responsible for the account management and business development of our strategic oncology accounts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing new and existing oncology accounts and growth of sales from our range of cancer testing products and services. The successful candidate will also support the launch of new brands into this portfolio, supporting and facilitating effective launch activities and communications. Ultimate responsibility for growth of sales from these major accounts and will be directly reporting into the Sales Director.

Everything Genetic has an existing portfolio of genetic brands, partnering with several international laboratories. The longer-term vision will be to bring these services into our UK partner labs, launch further products, and work with our clients to find new innovative solutions that would complement our current portfolio and be profitable long term for the company.

The successful candidate will be a vital link between Everything Genetic, internal stakeholders, marketing, logistics, clinical and commercial teams, and our client looking to adopt and develop these services in a post covid environment where major service provision has been affected.


Responsibilities and key duties

In order to be successful and meet the organisations demands, the candidate will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team.

The ideal candidate should have great pride in their ability to build strong partnerships with customers nationally, so customer focus and strong stakeholder management is key. Their position in the market allows them to meet and exceed customer expectations every time with their well trained and motivated mindset.

As a national role, prioritisation of time and effort will be fundamental. Developing clear business plans with rational as to your priorities and how you will approach these to achieve your goals.

  • Development of national level oncology business plans
  • Daily management of the day-to-day tasks necessary for the successful running of each partnership channel/account
  • Pro-actively seek large strategic accounts, hospitals, and private groups to on-board
  • Create and manage Service Level Agreement creation and management
  • Ensure we are working within our required and agreed contractual KPI’s
  • Primary point of contact for general enquiries, administration, pitches, tender applications, and general account management
  • Reporting management information through to Senior Management Team as needed
  • Customer service excellence and accurate recording of contacts through Salesforce
  • Liaison with internal and external stakeholders, couriers, and logistics to ensure orders are fulfilled and exceeding customer expectation.
  • Working through finance options to drive profitability for the organisation and ensure margins are maintained
  • Stock management for clients to ensure adequate allocation of resource
  • Liaison within Everything Genetic stakeholders regarding logistical and packaging requirements
  • Attending regular review and performance meetings
  • Supporting new projects, Everything Genetic portfolio developments and liaison with internal and external stakeholders as required.


Skills required

  • Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal
  • Experience of working within cancer services/oncology
  • Prior track record of account management at a high level (National coverage would be preferable)
  • Initiate, organise and carry out sales presentations to a high standard
  • Monitor and utilise all relevant promotional literature as part of the sales process
  • Ideally a 2.1 degree – science not essential but preferred
  • Evidence of achievement outside of your academic career
  • Excellent customer and internal rapport, able to demonstrate efficient planning and organising
  • A real desire to challenge yourself to succeed and exceed targets


Working Hours: Full time employment – Field based with occasional time based at Everything Genetic’s Head Office (Nantwich) as needed.

Marketing Manager

Location: Nantwich, Full Time

Everything Genetic is looking to appoint a Marketing Manager to drive demand and usage for their wellness and cancer testing products and services.

As well as being an integral member of a marketing team of 4, you will work closely with our sales team to ensure we achieve our commercial objectives for all product lines within the brand portfolio.

You will be responsible for learning the product strategy, getting to know its customers and buyer journeys, and developing the tools and campaigns that the company will implement to successfully introduce and sell the products and services to market for both B2B and B2C.


• Full implementation of the marketing strategy and plan for the company’s wellness and cancer testing portfolio.

• Deliver creative brand identity, product awareness and lead generation campaigns for multiple brands for customer acquisition and retention.

• To plan all digital marketing activities, including website, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising and manage campaign performance working with external consultants as required.

• Curate content for use across digital platforms e.g., web content, blogs, e-books, e-blasts, videos, podcasts etc.

• Manage the website content for all wellness and cancer products and services, and ensure it is kept up to date.

• Work with the sales team to develop presentations, sales collateral and support with organising and promoting events.

• Plan, organise and run internal and external sales and marketing events.

• Attending sales and marketing events as required.

• Support the launch of new products and services.

• Ensure the seamless integration of new products and services into the marketing plan.

• Manage any design changes to product packaging, forms or information for use documentation.

• Issue press releases and be active in public relations relating to product portfolio.

• Support the execution of corporate level internal and external brand and marketing activities.

• Providing general support to the team as required.

• Prepare periodic reports for the Marketing Director on campaign performance across the marketing mix.

To apply for this role, you must have:

• At least 5 years’ experience in a marketing management role (overall, experience in a full marketing mix role), preferably in the medical devices sector but not a deal breaker.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business or CIM post graduate.

• Outstanding organisational and project management skills with the ability to multitask.

• Proven track-record in successfully developing, managing and implementing online and offline marketing activities. Sound working knowledge of digital marketing would be advantageous.

• A confident communicator, comfortable reporting to Director level with excellent collaborative skills and ability to work with multiple teams and departments across the business.

• Excellent market research skills and the ability to gain insight into customer needs and experiences.

• Excellent copywriting, proofreading and design management skills to produce compelling sales material for both online and print media.

• Ability to work with multi-national companies.

• An eye for detail.
