Berkshire and Surrey Pathology Services (BSPS) is one of the largest pathology networks in the country, providing safe, high quality, clinically-led diagnostics. The pathology network is a partnership between NHS Trusts, including Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust, Ashford & St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, and Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.
The BSPS molecular diagnostics laboratory offers a number of ISO15189 accredited services; a stamp of high quality. The laboratory works with the South East Genomic Laboratory Hub and is one of the Local Genomic Laboratories working with NHS England to deliver the national genomic medicine service across England.
Everything Genetic has partnered with BSPS to enable the provision of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and deliver a portfolio of genetic testing services with a focus on genetic predisposition and prognostics in cancer.
The laboratory will support the technical delivery of Everything Genetic’s own-brand cancer assays.
