A unique wrap-around clinical support service to guide better health decisions

Our wrap-around clinical support service provides a unique and valuable offering to everyone who accesses our genetic risk and hereditary disease testing.

It ensures that everyone taking a genetic risk test understands the implications of the result and what action to take. It also allows clinicians and healthcare providers to develop early, personalised treatment plans and screening options where necessary, to help people live longer, healthier lives.

In-house clinical support enables personalised advice on what to do next

Our post-test clinical support is designed to give every customer clear guidance and support on what they should do next depending on their genetic test results outcome.

Pre and post-test clinical support includes:

  • a pre-test clinically guided informational video explaining what the test is for, who should take the test and the possible test results.
  • a post-test clinically guided informational video when reporting a lower or increased risk result for Antegenes or negative/variant of unknown significance for the 12 Gene Breast Cancer Panel and Multi-Cancer Panel with the option to arrange a call with our medical team.
  • a personalised clinical consultation from our medical team for customers with a positive results report for our 12 Gene Breast Cancer Panel, Multi-Cancer Panel, and Invitae tests.
  • a personalised results report sent by email to the customer and/or clinician.

All clinical support is delivered under the direction of our Medical Director, Dr James Mackay  supported by our central services team and a Medical Advisory Board comprising geneticists and cancer specialists.

Our pre and post-test clinical support service is optional for those clinicians who wish to provide this themselves in clinic. Please discuss with our sales team for more details.
