Meet Sarah Jones, Operations Support Lead |
Since joining Everything Genetic, I have really enjoyed the challenge of joining such a dynamic and innovative company. With new products on the horizon there is never a dull moment. I’m relishing the challenges that I’m given to develop my own skills, whilst at the same time see the contribution that I’m personally making to the growth of the business.
My role is to project manage various new product launches; scoping out requirements and deliverables, defining clinical pathways and risk management to make sure that every element has been carefully considered and is delivered on time.
Before joining Everything Genetic, I had no experience in project management. I qualified as a biologist, but I’m loving the challenge of being able to apply my knowledge in a different context.
I have been personally mentored by a senior team member at Everything Genetic, and this has been invaluable to help me develop skills and learn the importance of collaboration with various stakeholders, how to communicate clearly and hold people to account.
Everything Genetic is a rewarding place to work. Hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. If we go above and beyond, it gets acknowledged and we are personally thanked by the management team for outstanding work.
Looking ahead, I’m excited to see the launch of our new assays over the coming months, and what we can achieve next.

My role involves presenting the latest data on Everything Genetic’s cancer testing portfolio to oncologists and surgeons and helping them understand the clinical utility of each test.
I really enjoy the variety of my role, and being a small company means that you get to step into lots of different shoes and develop new skills. The field of genetics is rapidly evolving and Everything Genetic are always quick to respond, putting the needs of the customer at the heart of every decision.
Before joining Everything Genetic, I had studied genetics, completed a Master’s degree and worked in laboratories. This role gives me a greater sense of achievement because it has real world applications. We are living in the golden era of cancer genetics and the testing services that we provide are genuinely able to change people’s lives.
As we enter a very exciting time, evolving from a testing distributor to intellectual property owners of our own cancer assay, I’m proud to be a part of such an innovative and dynamic organisation.
